    Morris Knolls High School Athletic Weekly

    BASEBALL:   

    Earned the #5 seed in the upcoming MCT.  Swept Montville before losing to Madison.  Dylan Fitzsimmons and Billy Wingren lead the team in hits.

    Current record is 5-7

     

    SOFTBALL:  

    Winners of 5 in a row and ranked # 17 in the Current state rankings.  Beat Immaculata and then #4 ranked Watching Hills during the stretch. Pitcher Kayla Doyle has been hot on the mound.

    Current record is 6-3

     

    BOYS  TRACK: 

    Competed in Dodgertown and Morris Hills Relays where they finished in 5th place over Spring break. Completed dual meet season with a big win over Roxbury 98-37. This weekend the boys are in Philadelphia competing in the prestigious Penn Relays.

    Dual meet record is 3-1

     

    GIRLS TRACK:

    Placed 2nd at the Morris hills Relays and finished their dual meet season with a perfect 4-0 record trouncing Roxbury.  This weekend they are competing in the prestigious Penn Relays.

    Dual meet record:4-0

     

    BOYS TENNIS:

    Off to their best start in years, they have won all 7 matches with an identical 4-1 record.  1st singles Jacobo Dussan has led the way.

    Current record is 7-0

     

    BOYS GOLF:

    Adam Goldstein and Nick Tecchio are leading  the way for the boys golf team as they get ready for the upcoming county tournament on 4/30.

    Current Record is 8-2

     

    GIRLS GOLF

    Won the Morris County Championship by shooting a team total of 175.  Olivia Gaglione led all golfers with a low of 39.  The Girls are currently in 1st place in their division.

    Current record is 8-0

     

    GIRLS LACROSSE

    Come in ranked # 17 in the state according to NJ. COM with close wins over Mountain Lakes and Madison.  Earned the #4 seed in the upcoming MCT Tournament

    Current record is 5-2

     

    BOYS LACROSSE

    The boys have won 6 in a row behind steady goalie playoff Josh Savitch. In the Autism Awareness game yesterday they scored 2 goals in the final minutes to upset Kinnelon.

    Current record is 7-3

     

    UNIFIED TRACK AND FIELD/FLAG FOOTBALL:

    Lost a competitive game to  Bloomfield. Tim Lavis scored two touchdowns and Kyle McCleerey scored one. Looking forward with enthusiasm to our home game against Lakeland and the track and field invitational at  Mount Olive next week.
